Carmen de Villiers is the founder and director of Carmen de Villiers Inc.  She has over 10 years of experience in the corporate and finance law space.  She is an attorney and notary who is admitted in the High Court of South Africa.

Carmen started her career at Webber Wentzel where she served her articles and qualified as an attorney and notary.  In 2009 she was appointed as an associate in the banking & finance department.

In 2016 Carmen was appointed as a Director in the Finance and Banking team  at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

Carmen went on to work at Transcend Capital in the Black Economic Empowerment space where she advised various clients on the legal aspect of their BEE transactions.
